Welcome to Aster and Angel Sitters
Let me introduce myself. My name is Cindy Rose Boyd, and I am the Owner/Operator of Aster and Angel Sitters, LLC. Thank you for stopping by. I am pictured here with my daughter Sarah, who runs the office. My son Todd handles our website and designs, and my son Jacob and his wife are caregivers within the company. We are a family-run business. That means we understand what it means to keep our families safe and loved. We hire compassionate caregivers across North Georgia who believe in our mission. My staff and I are ready to help you with the tender care of your loved ones.
I would like to start with how we came to be. In 2005, my mother and father were declining rapidly, trying to live on their own in our hometown of Mt. Pleasant, NC. My mother was in the final stages of dementia, and my father had suffered a stroke. I brought them to my home in Georgia, where I was still raising my children. We all learned how to care for them.
My father was a WWII veteran, and I immediately took him to the VA for evaluation. He was put on a program for aging vets, and that was when we had our first experience with agencies. I was rather shocked at the things that went on. Sitters would come and just SIT and SIT. At the time I was holding down a full-time job and I needed help. If I asked for more help in any direction, I was told it was not in their job description. Consequently, I received nothing, and thus my workload continued to be overwhelming. It left me feeling like my tax dollars were not being spent correctly. When my father passed away, I decided caregiving needed a facelift, and I started my own company. We began with private duty in 2011, and later in September of 2012 we opened Aster and Angel Sitters, LLC. Our goal is to bring our sense of family and compassion to the care of your loved one, and we look forward to hearing from you soon.
Each caregiver is selected with the understanding that no job is beneath us, and our goal is to make the customer and the family comfortable. Now don't get me wrong… We are not a yard service nor a group of trained mechanics, but we can and do keep our clients as clean, well-fed, and comfy as we can. Our goal is to keep their daily environment tidy and clean, while also providing tender and loving care, and maintaining their personal hygiene.
Our main goal is to be a blessing to our customers and their families. If you are interested in reading more please step inside this website and see what we can do to help you and your loved ones. We look forward to hearing from you.
